Reservations
There are several ways to make a business reservation with Enterprise. You can book online at Enterprise.ca or through the Enterprise App. If you prefer, you can call 844-307-8008 or your local branch to speak with an agent. Be sure to have your Enterprise Account number (and billing number if applicable) available.
Light duty (1/2 ton) pickup trucks and cargo vans are available to reserve through the Enterprise site and mobile app. However, if you need to rent a commercially-equipped truck or van for your business, we recommend renting through Enterprise Truck Rental.
If your reservation is before April 1, plan to pick up your vehicle from the Discount Car and Truck Rentals branch as you normally would. In most cases, a representative will call to confirm details.
After April 1, you’ll need to verify the pick-up location and the branch’s hours of operation by visiting Enterprise.ca or by calling your local branch.
You can call your local branch or 844-307-8008 or contact customer service. Be sure to have your reservation number and/or Enterprise Account number available.
To modify or cancel an upcoming reservation originally booked with Discount, contact the renting branch by phone or 800#. Be sure to have the confirmation number and pick-up date of the original reservation available for reference. The representative will help you make updates and provide an updated itinerary.
To rent a car with Enterprise, you must meet minimum age requirements, have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide an acceptable form of payment. Renters under the age of 25 are subject to a ‘Youthful Surcharge.’ Click here or contact your local branch for details.
Any Discount Car and Truck Rentals customer contract with custom renter requirements will be honored by Enterprise. For retail or personal use vehicle reservations made with Discount Car and Truck Rentals prior to April 1, 2021, Enterprise will honor Discount’s renter requirements.
As of August 1, you will no longer be able to make reservations through VDV. If you use VDV to access invoices, statements, repair notices, mileage or other account details, the information will be available to you through August 30, 2021. After August 30, you will need to contact your account manager to discuss alternative access.

Beginning March 1, we will begin updating exterior and interior signage at select rental branches with Enterprise branding.
If your rental begins before April 1, you’ll need to return the vehicle to the location you rented it from or call your local branch to make other arrangements.
On or after April 1, you can rent a vehicle from one location and return to another; however, additional charges or mileage fees may apply. Visit Enterprise.ca for a list of locations, or contact your local branch for details.
Currently, the Canada-US border is closed to non-essential travel through March 21, 2021.
When the borders reopen, a vehicle can be rented in Canada and driven into the US; however, one-time drop charges and additional mileage charges may be incurred. Contact your local branch for details.
Accounts & Billing
Beginning in March, your company will be issued a new Corporate Account Number from Enterprise. Once received, please use the new account number to make vehicle reservations for your business at all Enterprise Rent-A-Car neighborhood and airport locations and at Enterprise Truck Rental branches. Your Discount Account Number will no longer be valid.
Please contact us via email at Business.Support@ehi.com to recover your Account Number. If you are not listed as the primary contact, you may need to provide evidence of your association with the company.

If you need to modify your company’s address or contact information, please email business.support@ehi.com. Be sure to have your company’s account name and account number available for reference.
Your new Enterprise Corporate Account Number will be used to manage and invoice all applicable reservations for your business. If you have questions about your account, invoicing, or accounts payable contacts for your company, please contact your local Enterprise representative or email business.support@ehi.com.
Beginning in March, your company will be issued a new Corporate Account Number from Enterprise. This account number can be used to make vehicle reservations for your business at all Enterprise Rent-A-Car neighborhood and airport locations, Enterprise Truck Rental branches, and the network of Discount locations from which you have been renting. Visit Enterprise.ca for a current list of available rental locations. Please use this account when making reservations for your company online, through the Enterprise Mobile App or via phone.
Your company will also have access to a global network of locations, including National Car Rental, a predominantly airport-based business travel brand. Your new Corporate Account Number provides a 5% retail discount; if you’re interested in a customized business rental program, please contact your local Enterprise representative, visit Enterprise.ca/business or email business.support@ehi.com.

Damage Waiver (DW) is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge. If the renter accepts DW, Enterprise waives or reduces the renter's responsibility for loss of, or damage to, the rental vehicle (including but not limited to towing, storage, loss of use, administrative fees and/or diminishment of value) subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and applicable laws.
DW is not insurance. The purchase of DW is optional and not required to rent a car. The protection provided by DW may duplicate the renter's existing coverage. Enterprise is not qualified to evaluated the adequacy of the renter's existing coverage; therefore the renter should examine his or her credit card protections, automobile insurance policies or other sources of coverage that may duplicate the protection provided by DW.
What Does Damage Waiver Cost?
The cost of Damage Waiver varies by location and vehicle type. The daily cost is between $13.99 and $29.99 (Canadian Dollars) per day.
