Enterprise Celebrates 25 Years in Canada

Expanding from a single location in Windsor, Ontario to becoming Canada’s largest rental fleet operator – Enterprise continues to connect Canadian communities coast to coast. With over 750 locations across Canada, we’re there when you need us.

We’re thrilled to honor our 25 years in Canada with a $250,000 gift from the Enterprise Rent-A-Car foundation to The Great Trail. Our gift will help more Canadians access the trail throughout the country. Because whether we're getting you on the road, or conserving places with no road at all, we’re proud to call Canada home. 

The Enterprise Holdings Foundation and Canadian employees contributed more than $3.4 million in donations to charities last year.

Enterprise Holdings operates the largest fleet of vehicles in the country. The company purchased 4.3% of all new vehicles sold in Canada in 2017.

The Great Trail

The Great Trail is the longest recreational trail in the world, stretching across the country of Canada and touching 13 provinces and territories. Connecting communities through greenways, waterways and roadways – the Great Trail offers a wide range of activities through a variety of landscapes. Thousands of Canadians and community partner organizations work together to develop and maintain the trail.

The Enterprise Rent-A-Car Foundation donation will establish the trail’s first “Mobility Fund” to increase trail accessibility across the country. Although the trail currently stretches over 24,000 kilometers, the non-profit aims to champion and build additional Trail sections throughout the country and the Enterprise donation will support this mission.
