Also nicknamed Egg Square because of its oval shape, it includes the Opéra Comédie from which it takes its name, and the famous Fountain of the Three Graces. This square is the ideal place to start a wall-to-wall historical tour of the city's downtown area, and also to discover all of the different attractions that the city has to offer.

The Pic Saint-Loup

The Pic Saint-Loup is a mountain located around 20 km from Montpellier. It's visible from many cities in the department of Hérault, from the coast, and even from the Gard region. Rich in its natural, archeological and historical heritage, it's renowned for its protected natural site and magnificent hikes. At the top is an iron cross, an observation post and a chapel of an ancient hermitage. High-quality wines and local produce from the many estates present in the region are also to be enjoyed. Come and taste the olives, oils, tapenades and cheeses specific to the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
