Can I rent a car without any deductible/deposit?
The short answer
Deductible and deposit are two different things when renting a vehicle.
- A deposit will be eligible to be refunded in full when the vehicle is returned in its original condition.
- In addition to the rental costs, all customers must also leave a 250 euro deposit.
- Deductible protection is optional, but it does reduce your level of liability.
The long answer
1) Deposit:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, V Pay and Maestro cards. Customers wishing to rent a seven- or nine-seater minivan, a large or premium SUV, or a luxury car or higher class of vehicle must pay with a credit card and be over 25 years old. Prepaid cards are not accepted as normal credit cards.
All rental customers must leave a deposit of 250 euro in addition to the rental costs.
Don't worry though, this will be refunded as long as the vehicle is returned in its original condition.
2) Deductible:
Deductible protection is optional. You may purchase deductible protection to reduce the amount for which you could be held liable in the event of accident damage or theft.
