Do I need insurance to rent a vehicle?

The short answer

• No. We provide a liability limitation (liability reduction) that is included in the cost of your rental
• The liability limitation (liability reduction) contains a deductible
• You have the option to purchase additional protection products (supplementary liability reduction/comprehensive cover) in order to reduce your deductible

The long answer

You do not need to purchase insurance to rent from Enterprise because we include liability limitation as part of your rental charge. The liability limitation is associated with a deductible, i.e. the amount for which you are liable in the event of accident damage or theft of the vehicle. You have the option to purchase additional protection products in order to reduce this deductible and start your journey in a more relaxed manner.
